The HTSM program offers continuing educational programming beyond the basic and the advanced programs. As requests are made, programs including internet learning modules will be added.

HTSM 502 Aromatherapy for the Oncology Population. This 3 hour program explores the healing qualities of certain essential oils helpful for the physical body with a focus on the oncology population. Specific oils addressed include lavender, peppermint, lemon and others with indications for oncology clients. The historical and current use of essential oils for health care are addressed. Essential oil chemistry, quality standards, safety and research are discussed especially as they apply  to the oncology population.

HTSM 503 Raindrop and Vita Flex. This is an eight-hour course that teaches a specific healing technique developed by Dr. Gary Young, N.D known as the Raindrop Technique and Vita Flex developed by Dr. Stanley Burroughs and adapted by Dr. Young. Raindrop Technique (RT) is a powerful, non-invasive tool for assisting the body in both chronic and acute inflammatory states to achieve a degree of balance by utilizing the antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory action of several key essential oils on the back. Vitra Flex is a specific technique that utilizes the same essential oils along the spine points on the foot.
